The shops which are displayed in the place of the terrestrial port zone, can receive special right to use space for placement of tables to serve their customers or selling items.

The space may be granted upon request of the shopkeeper by decision of the Board of the Municipal Port Fund of Rethymno, approved by the General Secretary of the Decentralized Administration of Crete, for a period up to 3 years without making changes in this specific area.

In case they want to use this space in order to run any project, the decision of the Board must be approved by the Ministry of Shipping and Navy General Staff, which also requires the acceptance of this decision by the General Secretary of the Decentralized Administration of Crete.
It is fixed terrestrial port zone into three jurisdiction ports of Rethymno Municipal Port Fund which raised shops:

terrestrial zone of Rethymno port: link deciding whether terrestrial zone, Link circular concessions the Ministry premises, Link Ministerial Decision shelters Eleftherios Venizelos, Decision 46/2013
terrestrial zone of Agia Galini port: link land area Agia Galini, link circular concessions Ministry spaces, link 46/2013.
terrestrial zone of Plakias port: link land Plakias port area, link circular concessions the Ministry premises.

Shopkeepers who are interested in taking the relevant space granting an application must provide the following documents:

1. application of the concession area (accompanied by topographical diagram of our service)
2. certified copy of the start certificate vocation and copy of the financial statement
3. tenants: a certified copy of lease
4. owners: certified title deed
5. copy shop license
6. identity card or passport
7. companies will provide status and authorization for the person of the company.
